This past weekend was a blast. My Aunt Emily, Uncle Brad and Cousin Emma Claire came from Minnesota to see me. My Rowie and Opa came and stayed as well. Daddy B, E.B., Aunt Mere, Uncle Preston, Cousin Emily Kate & Eva were all here for my baptism. All in all I had about 80 visitors this weekend. Here are some photos of the weekend.

Halloween

Halloween was fun this year. I went and visited our next door neighbors Mrs. Kenny and the Eagles. Then we went down to see the Henrys down the street. From there I went by E.B & Daddy B’s house, and finally on the Sally Kate and Jonathan’s house for a party! I was tired all day Sunday but I loved Halloween. Below are some pictures of me!

This past week we went to the Oxford Pumpkin Patch! It was a lot of fun, i got three Pumpkins from the Pumpkin Patch.

I’m Back!!! I have not bloged since my father’s Birthday. A lot of things have been happening, I now weigh 13lbs 2oz as of last Tuesday. I have had many visitors over. Rowie(Greta’s Mom), Opa(Greta’s Dad), EB(Jason’s Mom) Daddy B(Jason’s Dad), Granddaddy Red, my great Grandfather, Nita, my great Grandmother, Jonathan, Sally Kate, well a lot of people. My favorite team Ole Miss is not looking good in the football department and this has made me cry, a lot.

My good friend William Mayo, or W. as I like to call him was baptized, my dad is his Godfather. I went, everyone was there. My dad's friend Richard held me most of the time. I think he is getting ready for their baby that will be here in March. I just been growing and hanging out with my Mom and Dad.

Uncle Henry stoped by yesterday on his way home to see George Marshall. Unc as he is known told him stories, about hunting, and about Delbert, Unc's right hand man on the farm. Lets just hope and pray he doesn't see him in a courtroom.

Doctors Office

George Marshall had a great Doctors visit yesterday. In one week the G Man gained 1lb 9oz. He is now at 6lbs 12oz. Greta is doing a great job with him. All went well and Greta and I feel better about his weight. He should be at his birth weight by his due date 8-16-09. Here are some more pictures for the G Man hanging around the house

Here we are leaving the hospital in Tupelo. We have been home for over a week now and are adjusting well. Mother and Son are doing great!

3 Weeks Early

George Marshall Bailey
5lbs 4oz 18 ½ in Long

Three weeks early! Little George Marshall was ready to come out and face the World, and the doctors agreed. He was not gaining any weight in his mothers belly so it was time to get him out. Greta did such a great job over the day and a half. George finally arrived July 28, 2009 at 8:01pm.
Thanks to all for the prayers and texts of encouragement. I loved hearing from everyone. We should be able to come home on the 30th, but may have to stay do to his low weigh. No worries, but just making sure he is okay.

GMB Baby Shower

My parents friends had a baby shower for me on the 11th of July. It was held at the Walker farm, what fun I had hearing everyone. I wish I could have seen it, but I was hanging out with my Mom. Thanks to my parents friends I will be looking good for the next couple of years, then it is up to my Dad to dress me, help. Here are some pictures of the fun night. Greta and I have been talking about pictures before George Marshall is born. We need to get the dogs, Maggie and Izzie, done before he arrives. I have always liked a picture of a woman while she is with child, and I feel that Greta and I will have to get our picture taken together before George Marshall gets here.

With a finishing time of 2:12:02 I have now completed a half-marathon. Greta and George Marshall were along to watch the finish of the race. This is another event that I get to cross off my list of things to do before we have kids. There are only two items left on the list, Fly Fishing and Norte Dame Football Game. The Norte Dame will not be crossed off because George Marshall will be here before football season.

Half Marathon

This weekend George Marshall’s Father will run his first Half Marathon in Nashville. The Country Music City Marathon / Half Marathon will start at 7am on Saturday morning. His goal is to finish the race in less than 2 hours 10 min. We will let you know the results when we get back.

Bubba

Emma Clare, George's cousin, calls him bubba. This started at Christmas when we told Greta’s family. Emma Clare knew what we were going to have a Christmas. Emily Kate, another cousin has always known it was going to be a boy!! She keep asking my sister Meredith when he will be here? Who knew children had such intuition. I keep asking both cousin the lottery numbers but it continues not to work! We are so excited to have a boy enter the family, on both sides. Now the boys numbers in the family are looking up.

What we thought was a foot??? This morning we got the news that a boy was heading our way. Greta and I are so excited about this news. His first name, George, comes from Greta’s father and his second, Marshall, comes from my Grandfather. The first grandson on both sides of the family!!! We will keep you posted as to want is going on. I now am going on the St. Louis Cardinals website to buy a Cardinals jumper.

Well Monday we went and had our 2nd ultra sound. Everything went well with the baby, all things looking good. The only thing is the baby foot was in the way of the money shot, so we still don’t know what the sex of the baby. April 6th is the next doctor’s appointment so we will get another ultra sound done then.

Well today we don't know what sex the baby is, but after tomorrow we will know. If the baby is turned the right way tomorrow we will know if its a boy or girl! We have our doctors app. at 9:30am, so be ready for that call, text, or email to see what it is, or you can check this blog.

3rd Dr. Visit

This week we had our third Doctors visit. Greta will be 16 weeks this Sunday! Everything went well at the visit and we go back on the 16th of March. At this time we hope we will be able to tell if it is a Boy or Girl!
Two weeks of birthdays. Maggie celebrated her 4th birthday on February 18 and Izzie will have her first Birthday on this Sunday March 1st. It doesn’t seem like 4 years have gone by since we got Maggie. How time goes by.

In other news our friends that are expecting as well have found out what they are having. My old roommate from College and his wife, Tripp and Doty Yates are having a girl in early July. And one of my best friend and his wife, Brad and Cathleen Mayo are expecting a Boy, either way baby Bailey will have someone to room with in college.

2nd Doctors Visit

This morning we had our second doctors visit! Very routine, the Doctor came in and asked all the questions and then we all listened to the baby’s heart beat, very strong and fast. Mother and Father to be are excited and doing great! We will not find out what the sex of the baby is the next trip, but we will in March, so go ahead and place your bets.

The sisters to be are very excited as well, Maggie and Izzie take turns laying by Greta and listening to the heart beat of the baby, Greta loves this.

That is right; Greta and I are excited to let everyone know that we are expecting our first child in mid August. Greta is 9 weeks today and has been feeling very tired, but the father to be is very excited. As technology grows so does our ability to keep everyone informed as to what is going on.
